The Moon's Day

Each day of the week is unique in name, history, and energy.

Monday is known as being ruled by the energy of the Moon and here's why:
  • The English word Monday was derived from Old English which literally means “moon’s day”.
    • Middle English – Monday or mone(n)day
    • Latin – dies lunae – “Day of the moon”
    • Old Norse - mánadagr, mandag, mánudagur
    • Old English – mōnandæg or mōndæg
    • Ancient Greek – hemera selenes – “day of the moon”
The moon's qualities also depends on its phase, what astrological sign it is in, and how those energies affect your astrological birth chart.

No wonder Mondays are stressful!
